Snow

I’m sitting here on Christmas night with not much of anything to blog about but I’ve had a wonderful Christmas and I can’t help but wonder why.
I’m thinking it’s because I am loved.
The girls and Pamela are watching “Hairspray” and laughing and all things considered, my life is good.
I am the richest man in town at this moment.
I thank all of you dearly for leaving such wonderful comments.
Tomorrow is a very special day.
21 years ago tonight, I was driving my lovely and very pregnant wife to the hospital for the birth of our first little girl.
Sarah is 21 tomorrow.
Good God, time flies . . .
Please leave a warm wish or some sage advice for her.
Merry Christmas everybody!
And yes, it’s snowing on my blog tonight.
How apropos is that?

peace,
~m

Happy Birthday, Sas!

  5. Happy Birthday, Sarah –
    21 is a big milestone in a person’s life – but don’t worry there won’t be another one until you’re 35 – so you’ve got time. 😉

Hope you have a lovely birthday and the coming year brings you all your heart wants and some surprises too.

sarah: happy birthday to you. just remember:

the best things in life aren’t things at all.

believe in your convictions, even when others around you are following the herd.

know in your heart that your family loves you and will always be there for you, no matter what.

  9. Glad you had a most wonderful holiday! I have no sage advice. By the time I was 21 I had settled my ass down. 13-15 was bad for me. I’m sure you raised yourself a right-smart girl. Sit back and enjoy! Happy Birthday Sarah!!

  10. Sarah,
Wishing you a very Happy Birthday! It reminds me of being 21…finally legal…for certain things…like voting! As for dating…well, you’d better check with Dad.
Michael…wishing you and your Family a wonderful New Year filled with hope, health & happiness…and prosperity!
Sorry..I’m late but the stomach flu bug hit my home in triple this season…busy playing nurse-maid here.
But I’m feeling very rich as well. I have a Hubby who loves me…and 2 grandkids that keep me busy. It just doesn’t get better than that!

    Thanks, Matty. You’re a peach.
