My apologies folks.
There’s not much in the creative well today.
I had some ideas for this week but it seems they caught the last train for the coast.
I guess somedays are like that.

  1. Empty can be good. It could mean you are ready for a fill up real soon. πŸ˜‰

    Actually, I think I’m full.
I should have said ‘creatively constipated’ but it wouldn’t have sounded as poetic.

  2. Well, you’ve been on a good run, lately.
Did you have many in attendance for supper tonight? You did cook, didn’t you?

Believe it or not, I didn’t cook.
And no one was in attendance.
One had soccer practice and the other had SAT prep.
    We flew solo…

  3. It can be frustrating, but there’s no need for an apology, everyone has empty days. I think it just goes with the territory of being a writer/blogger.

It does go with the territory.
Sometimes just that act of acknowledging it makes it go far, far away.
    We’ll see…

  4. On blog surfer of wordpress I read daily from 20 blogs. For the last couple of weeks posting has been fewer and fewer. Today you are the only one that posted explaining about the why of it.
I notice the same on my blog, there are those days with nothing much to say on the blog. It seems many people are there with us. Perhaps blogging is more a winter thing on the Northern Hemisphere. πŸ™‚

It ebbs and flows like the tides, I guess.
Personally, I’ll disagree on the winter thing.
I’m a four season kind of guy as far as my writing.
I pray it stays that way.
    Thanks for the comment, RW…

  5. I don’t think that our minds are ever creatively empty-some days are supposed to be quiet and reflective. Fresh air and mindless activities(like raking) can be a good way to straighten out your thoughts.
Enjoy the break-it will make the next post even better.

I have to laugh because you’re commenting like a writer would.
I appreciate the fact that you commented on this post because it shows me that you care.
We’ll have to wait and see about that next post. πŸ˜‰

  6. I’ve been feeling that for quite a while. Guess it happens to everyone. I think I would be much more creative if the weather was nicer. Can you do anything about that?

    I’ll see what I can do, Carn… πŸ˜‰

  7. Cool, just make sure you grab some interesting reading material, close the door and take some time, just be careful that your legs don’t fall asleep, it tends to happen during longer sittings πŸ™‚ .

    Thanks, SP.
I think I’m going to be just fine…

  8. What, do you not read the paper, listen to talk radio?
Spend one hour listening to this shit and you could write non-stop for 365 days!
    Need help, call me.

    Thanks, Laho…
Expect a call around midnight. πŸ˜‰
