I was looking at my blog stats this morning and noticed a URL I hadn’t seen in sometime.
The ref link was from bloggyaward.com, the site that reviewed my blog a little while ago.

Hmm…interesting; I clicked on the link because something struck me as odd.
You know how sometimes things just don’t look right?
I arrived at the destination page and realized with much horror why someone clicked the link for my site. I’m also assuming they left my site unfulfilled. To see what I’m talking about read my “Close, but no cigar” post and click on the bloggyaward link.

One caveat: if you’re easily offended by sleazy pornography, please go elsewhere.

You have been warned.

I’ve tried to get in touch with the site administrator but it seems virtually impossible.
I’m wondering whether this is some kind of cruel hoax or whether the site itself has been hacked.

I love my blog dearly and this kinda hurts. I wanted to post if only to clear my blog's name.
I’m not easily offended but I find what’s happened here to be repulsive and irreprehensible to the highest degree.
I work hard at my blog and this is a violent slap in the face.
And yes, I am pissed.

If anyone has any ideas as to how I can remedy the situation, I’d love to hear from you.
I'm all out of answers.
The jpeg below is what used to be where the current pic is.
If this post doesn't elicit numerous comments, I don't know what will…

  1. Oh Michael that's just plain wrong….it's not anything to do with your site, someone has hacked into the bloggy award site…there feed was all screwed up the other day too, I have them subscribed on bloglines. Bloggyaward pick the pics that get used on that site…have you sent them an email???!
I can see why your pissed, I would be too…..
    Cheers, Kelly

Trying to contact these guys is like pissing into the wind.
I've looked at the site for anything resembling a "contact" link and have found nothing.
We'll see what happens. It is good to hear you've noticed some strange things going on over there.
You would think they would police the site. Ah, well…

  2. I am in agreement M they didn't hack you so much as they did
the bloggy site and as always the people that run that need to police their site better. Keep making noise you know the old saying the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Or in this case the blogger should.

I realized from the get-go that the bloggy site had been hacked.
I think it's odd that no one from the site has noticed it yet.
Still working on getting in touch with these people.
    Easier said than done, unfortunately.

  3. Sorry but try to look at the bright side. It might bring you a whole new audience.

    No truer words spoken, Fuzz.
The only side I'm trying to see is the bright side.
And yes, it has made me laugh a bit.
    Messed up…

  4. Obviously they don't check their site too often.
And make themselves easy to contact.

    No, they don't.
Wonder if I'll ever get to the bottom of this…
